Community: a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.

One of the huge reasons why people like to utilize coworking spaces is because of the sense of community. Instead of working from home, coworking spaces bring together professionals who could possibly help one another spark new ideas. Local businesses thrive in the community room space and it allows so many opportunities for networking. Instead of being enclosed in an office space all day long or stuck in their house 24/7, they are able to sit in the open space and let their creative ideas flow. I myself worked at an office job for the past 3 years, and would never want to go back to working in a space like that again. My job is to do marketing for The Foundry; I get to use the community room space every single day, and it allows me to be my most productive self. The room alone is enough to give me inspiration on what to post for The Foundry. I don’t think there is one negative thing that can be said about the space and anyone who has come to see it admires it’s beauty. There is so much sunshine that comes in through the windows, calming music that plays throughout the room, refreshments on hand, and the sense of productivity. I can say with 100% certainty that our community space is somewhere that anyone would enjoy spending their time and getting their work done.

There is a lot of  flexibility that comes along with using a coworking space. You can come and go as you please, and don’t have set hours that you have to follow every single day. You aren’t confined to a single boxed in room and can move around to whatever space is calling your name. The Foundry’s community room has a very modern vibe and is so beautiful to work in all day long. Think of the community room at The Foundry as the local coffee shop you might sit in a few days per week, but ten times better!  There would always be space for you here, vs if you might show up to your local coffee shop and there could not be a spot for you. The community room even has its own phone booth, so if you need to hop on a zoom meeting or take a quick phone call, you have the privacy to do so and no one else will be able to hear your conversation. There are also private meeting rooms that can be rented by the hour if you were to need private meeting space or meet with clients in a secluded area.

The Foundry offers many different options for memberships to the community room at different price ranges. You can buy a single day pass, a pass that allows 4 days per month, a pass that allows 8 days per month, or an unlimited monthly pass. There are options for everyone! This community room space is the highlight of the building and brings so much color and vibrancy to your work day. You won’t regret using The Foundry’s community room for an amazing coworking experience.
