What is the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?:
The best advice I was given was from my parents, James and Delores Morehead. They always instilled in us value, respect, and dignity. The one nugget that I always remind myself that they would tell us as young adults is, “Make sure your character enters the room before you do.”
What influential person, dead or alive, would you have dinner with? And what would you talk to them/ask them about?:
There are so many influential people that I would love to have dinner with. However, the one that is on my list is Michelle Obama. I would love to talk to her about her journey as a woman, NOT as the former First Lady to our country, NOT as the wife to our former President, Barack Obama, NOT as the mother to Malia & Sasha. However, as a woman. Before she was all those things, she was a woman. How she was able to maneuver from the role of self to the role of many.
What are your favorite hobbies outside of working?:
My favorite hobbies outside of working are – spending time with my granddaughter, Marlee Lyn, buying house plants (I am now a plant mom), spending time on self-development, binge watching Netflix movies, and cooking.
